transportation?

I still don't know what we are going to do about transportation. I like this trolley.

I think that our best bet is to only have the transportation while we take pictures. Then, maybe we could arrange rides from the ceremony to the reception for our wedding party. I think it is a waste of money to pay the transportation to sit outside the church until it takes us to the reception site...two minutes away. Hmmm...

This place may be a possibility as well - but it seems pricey...even though it is much less than some of the others. I need to call some local places as well.

Here are some more:

I heart the holidays!

wedding website!

Due to the stomach flu, end of the semester chaos, long lines at the post office, an unfinished guest list, etc...I have not been able to send our save-the-dates yet: ( Since I will not have them out until next week, I figured I should choose a wedding Web site to include on them.

I found one...

Check it out! And - check back frequently because it needs some work; )

Hair?

Here are some hair pictures I have collected. I think I want a low up-do, and I think I may wear a headband. I think I want my veil under my hair...

These are really big, but I like how they are smooth and loopy...

postcards

The postcards are almost finished! I stayed up to late, but I am happy they are almost done! Now, I just need to make the guest list - yikes!

This info was helpful -

Postcard Standards:

Minimum Allowable Postcard Size: 3.5 x 5 InchesIf the width is less than 5 inches or the height is less than 3.5 inches the USPS will NOT mail your postcard.

Maximum Allowable Postcard Size: 4.25 x 6 InchesIf the width is greater than 6 inches or the height is greater than 4.25 inches, the postcard must be mailed as a letter, higher rate and all.

Minimum Thickness: .007 Inches
Any mail less than the minimum is considered Non-Mailable and the USPS will NOT deliver it.

Maximum Thickness: .25 inches
Exceeding the maximum puts the mail piece into a different mail class, called a Parcel.

Intermediate Sizes are Allowable
A 4 x 5.5 inch postcard is mailable at the postcard rate. As long as a mail piece meets the size, thickness, weight and aspect ration requirements above, it can be mailed as a postcard.

...and this site - USPS - was helpful too!

Wow - this image will help me make sure nothing is covered up as I finish the back of the postcard!

Photoshop!

I have stayed up too late playing with our save the dates! I downloaded a free 30-day trial of Photoshop, and I have been goofing with it all night! I found an awesome tutorial, and I think I have taught myself how to use Photoshop! I think I may use this picture...

Kleenex!?!

I have thought about including Kleenex in the ceremony somehow...since I'm known for crying at weddings. I have thought about little Kleenex packs, a few sheets with a bow and note, etc. I came across this tonight! Perhaps it could go by the guest book or near the entrance...HAHA.

Check it out...

Go to www.mykleenextissue.com! Be sure to preivew your tissue box!

Hahaha. Maybe I could have a "Kleenex-box girl" beside the "guest book girl" : )
