This month our lives changed even more as you gained confidence on your feet! You started cruising around EVERYWHERE and walking up to four steps on your own!
I really felt like you began to fully explore your surroundings this month! You crawled everywhere that you could, cruised from one piece of furniture to the next, scaled the walls, and climbed the stairs. You maneuvered your way around many obstacles, you put many things - including a ladybug! - in your mouth, and you did a lot of shaking, rattling, and rolling; )
Up until our Thanksgiving trip (and beginning on Halloween night!), you only got up one time each night! Mama felt like a whole new person; ) By the end of your eleventh month, you were back up two to three times night - I guess you missed me!
You also went on your first road trip! For Thanksgiving, we piled in Grandma and Grandpa's car and made our way to Dallas to see the Laird family. You were a trooper in the car, and we made great time both ways! You loved playing with Ryan and the puppies, and you crawled and pulled up on everything! It was apparent to us all that you will be walking in no time (EEEEEK!). We had a delicious Thanksgiving meal, and we had fun visiting, going to the park a few times, and going out to eat! I am thankful that you have so many people who love you: )
You also went on your first road trip! For Thanksgiving, we piled in Grandma and Grandpa's car and made our way to Dallas to see the Laird family. You were a trooper in the car, and we made great time both ways! You loved playing with Ryan and the puppies, and you crawled and pulled up on everything! The good weather in Kansas continued, so we took many more trips to the park! You seem to enjoy it more every time we go! The swing is your favorite - you squeal and giggle and kick your legs: ) It makes me love the park even more!
You are still a good shopper, too! You accompany me on my trips to the grocery store, and you ride in the cart like a big boy (except for when you fall asleep and I sneak you into the cart in your car seat!). You like to hold something while we shop, and you really like the leather strap on my wallet! I am so so so impressed by how patient you are, and I really like having you with me: )
With the Thanksgiving holiday and the upcoming Christmas holiday, you spent LOTS of time with family and friends! You also met Santa, and you went to your first tacky Christmas sweater party with your friends! You are more and more interested in Arlo, and we are all so excited to see you guys grow up together: ) You also LOVE Ryan - you like to follow him around, listen to his voice, and listen to him read. Auntie Lisa was here, too!
