2 Years - 40 Weeks - Big Boy!

It is hard for me to believe how grown up Hudson is these days! He has so much to say and is involved in so many big-boy activities!

He was hesitant to ride his big-boy bike at first, but he's starting riding it more and more - and he's going faster and faster!

He usually rides to a certain point, and then we carry his bike back home - LOL. On the way home, he likes to find dandelions!

Marilyn was closed on a Friday, so I stayed home with Hudson and Arlo. We went to the library, and the boys had a great time playing trains, attending story time, and making wreaths!

SO big!

After nap, they ate a bunch of cheese crackers and squeezed onto the couch together - I'm not sure how much longer they'll fit side-by-side!

The next day, they had their first "soccer practice" at Rock Chalk Park, the new city rec center.

They are also taking a gymnastics class! They love the trampoline and tumble track, and sometimes they'll climb the ladder!

Hudson even relaxes like a big boy!

Sometimes I wish time would slow down! At the same time, I seem to love each age more than I thought I could. As he approaches three (!!!), we're really seeing his personality and enjoying hearing all that he has to say <3

2 Years - Week 39 - Touch-A-Truck / Fall Harvest Festival

After having a great time at the Topeka Touch-a-Truck event, we were excited to find another event just outside of Lawrence!

Hudson, Nick, Aaron, Arlo and I had a blast: )

The highlight of the event (for Hudson AND Nick): a picture with Slugerrr!

The next day, we went to Pendleton's Country Market for the Healthy Sprouts Fall Harvest Festival!

(Look who was on the announcement!)

2 Years - Week 37 - Another Fall Weekend

We've really been packing activities into our weekends with the beautiful fall weather (and because of the limited time before another little baby is in our house!)!

This weekend was particularly fun!

It started with a trip to Pet World for story time: ) We met Arlo and Aaron there, and we spent quite a bit of time checking out the critters. The boys especially liked the fish!

We did some shopping after that, and Hudson insisted that Slugger walk safely in the parking lots: )

What fall weekend would be complete without a trip to the park with Little Dwight and playing with trains?

SO thankful for weekends with this little boy <3
