We spent a lot of weeks this fall having fun with Hudson before his brother arrived!
We made SO MANY muffins: )
We also continued to attend weekly gymnastics classes. Gymnastics was at 6:30 p.m. on the other side of town, so we often had a picnic and played at the park between work/daycare and gymnastics because it didn't make sense to go all of the way home.
Collecting sticks!
Eating a Hershey kiss after our picnic!
Me: I have a Hershey kiss for you.
H: (HUGE smile...) I'm going to put it in my ear.
H: (HUGE smile...) I'm going to put it in my ear.
Actually following directions!
Post-gymnastics horns in the tub!
Soccer ended...with medals! The boys were probably a little too young for soccer, but it was good to get them out of the house, and it is always fun to see them together: )
On one of the last warm weekends, Nick and I took Hudson to "the farm" (a.k.a. Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead). We knew we wouldn't have many more chances to spend time together as a family of three, and we had a great day together!
Goats!
H: "The goats are hungry and want their babas now!"
He thought it was SO funny when they tried to eat his shirt; )
Corn!
More goats!
Trails!
Fish!
Moooo!
Halloween this year was even more fun than last year! This year Hudson was a frog and Arlo was a chicken: ) The day before Halloween, Arlo, Aaron, and Cookie joined us at Brandon Woods for trick or treating, and the boys were SO cute with the residents and as they walked through the halls!
The next day (Halloween!) we went to Butch and Judy's and hung out with this rock star (aka Ryan!)...
After that, we went to Claire and Aaron's for a delicious dinner, and we visited a few houses nearby. It was a GREAT evening: )
This silly monkey had some trouble napping, but we finally had some luck getting him to sleep in our bed. Phew!
After a long nap, he happily sat in the grocery cart during our shopping trip!
Win for Mommy!
Fall brought another election, and Hudson accompanied me to the polls again this year. He ran around some while I filled in my ballot, but he was good - and really cute - for the most part: )
