2 Years - 45 Weeks - Wreaths, Selfies, and Nose Prints

Hudson had so much fun making a fall wreath at the library story time that we decided to make a similar Christmas wreath! He decorated a paper plate with Christmas stickers (I was very impressed with how he spread them out around the plate - ha!), and then I punched holes around the edges. He carefully put ribbon through the holes. He was SO proud of his wreath, and creating the wreath was a fun way to spend time together!

We also took some selfies this week! I sure do love this kid; )

Sometimes Hudson likes to give "nose prints" instead of kisses. I think he learned about nose prints because the kiddos aren't supposed to put their noses on the glass door at daycare because it leaves nose prints - ha! Every time he gives us nose prints, he yells, "Nose print!!!"

2 Years - 44 Weeks - Random Moments

I didn't do a very good job of capturing pictures of Hudson during the final weeks of my pregnancy. I was just SO SO SO tired!

These pictures are pretty random and boring - but that was kind of what life was like at that point!

Grumpy Hudson with bed head!

Sick Hudson - I had to pick him up from daycare because he had a fever : (
(This picture makes me want to cry, but he is SO cute at the same time!!!)

Cute Hudson at the park!

Cuddly Hudson and Dwight watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

Train-loving Hudson playing trains at The Toy Store before gymnastics!

Hudson the Muffin Man preparing his muffin cups!

More Hudson + Dwight + Mickey!

Train-loving Hudson mesmerized by his Thomas catalog!

2 Years - 43 Weeks - More Fall Fun

We spent a lot of weeks this fall having fun with Hudson before his brother arrived!

We made SO MANY muffins: )

We also continued to attend weekly gymnastics classes. Gymnastics was at 6:30 p.m. on the other side of town, so we often had a picnic and played at the park between work/daycare and gymnastics because it didn't make sense to go all of the way home.

Collecting sticks!

Eating a Hershey kiss after our picnic!

Me: I have a Hershey kiss for you.
H: (HUGE smile...) I'm going to put it in my ear.

Actually following directions!

Post-gymnastics horns in the tub!

Soccer ended...with medals! The boys were probably a little too young for soccer, but it was good to get them out of the house, and it is always fun to see them together: )

On one of the last warm weekends, Nick and I took Hudson to "the farm" (a.k.a. Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead). We knew we wouldn't have many more chances to spend time together as a family of three, and we had a great day together!

Goats!

H: "The goats are hungry and want their babas now!"

He thought it was SO funny when they tried to eat his shirt; )

Corn!

More goats!

Trails!

Fish!

Moooo!

Halloween this year was even more fun than last year! This year Hudson was a frog and Arlo was a chicken: ) The day before Halloween, Arlo, Aaron, and Cookie joined us at Brandon Woods for trick or treating, and the boys were SO cute with the residents and as they walked through the halls!

The next day (Halloween!) we went to Butch and Judy's and hung out with this rock star (aka Ryan!)...

After that, we went to  Claire and Aaron's for a delicious dinner, and we visited a few houses nearby. It was a GREAT evening: )

This silly monkey had some trouble napping, but we finally had some luck getting him to sleep in our bed. Phew!

After a long nap, he happily sat in the grocery cart during our shopping trip!
Win for Mommy!

Fall brought another election, and Hudson accompanied me to the polls again this year. He ran around some while I filled in my ballot, but he was good - and really cute - for the most part: )
